Get involved
Here you'll find information about programmes we are involved with.

What is litter?
Understanding what gets littered and where, helps us address littering behaviour (see litter Audit/Report Litter is waste which ends up in the wrong place – our streets, parks and waterways.
Our Rangatahi are the key to stopping litter and ending waste. Thousands of children and young people across Aotearoa have already pledged to Be a Tidy Kiwi and have promised to Put Litter in its Place.
Supporting schools and sports clubs with standardised colour coded “binfrastructure” is an important part of our programme.
Get your business involved
It’s as simple as your organisation making a collective pledge to “Be a Tidy Kiwi” and promoting us on social media.
We will also design solutions for your business which helps you and more importantly your customers reduce their waste and dispose of what they do use responsibly.
Be a Tidy Kiwi like all Charities need constant support, so funding from businesses is important. If you’d like to use our logo to promote being a Tidy Kiwi, we can send you a Be a Tidy Kiwi logo agreement. This will allow you the use of the BATK brand under license.
